Robert Quinn makes a meal out of Mike Glennon with his three sacks, as his team goes on to dominate the Buccaneers 23-13. Zac Stacy had another big game with a touchdown and 104 yards on 33 carries. This run-first Ram team is working. They have been able to play physically and impose their will as of late and it is paying off in the win column. Bobby Rainey was unable to get anything going for Tampa Bay in this one, he had 20 carries for just 37 yards on the afternoon. When you can run the ball and stop the run, you will win a lot of games. St. Louis aspires to be like the 49ers and Seahawks, and they are on their way there with a good defense and run game. Now all they need is a solid quarterback. I still think that Sam Bradford can be that guy, but he needs to stay healthy before he can earn a vote of confidence. For Tampa Bay, Mike Glennon has regressed a bit since his hot start. It is possible that he has hit the rookie wall, so he could have that obstacle in his way. If not, the Bucs need to find a quarterback to lead this team to more victories on the season. I personally think that Glennon has a nice future in front of him in this league, but he is going to need to play consistently to validate this. He didn’t have a horrible game against the Rams, but he also didn’t have a great one. When a team struggles to run the ball, they need a spark in their passing game and Tampa was unable to get it in this one. It is as simple as that, and that is why they lost to St. Louis.
