The Ravens follow up their bitter loss in Buffalo with a tight win in Miami over the agile, mobile, and hostile Dolphin “D”. Terrell Suggs dominated in this battle, acquiring three sacks. The Ravens as a team dropped Tannehill six times as pass protection left the Dolphins snake-bitten once again this week. Joe Flacco did not throw a touchdown pass, but Ray Rice was able to hammer the ball in the end zone twice on an otherwise tough day for him. The ‘Phins are making it tough for their opponents to run the ball against them. Unfortunately their offense is not exactly dominating the league in the running game themselves. The team ran for 22 yards (the second time this season in which Miami mustered less than 30 yards on the ground in a game). Mike Wallace finally had an impact in this one, but it was not enough to bring the Dolphins a win. For the Ravens, there may not be a team in the league that is harder to figure out. It seems like they win the games most people pick them to lose, but then they come out and look bad against teams like Buffalo. Next week will test Baltimore as the Packers will head to town to take on the defending Super Bowl Champs. The Ravens will need to be at their best defensively if they hope to win that game.
