The Chargers trailed in this game 21-10 at one point and went into halftime down 21-13. The second half rally really helped to elevate this team and bring them to their second win of the season. I really believe that San Diego is a changed team; folks you are looking at a team that could be 4-0 if it had not been for a couple of last second losses this season. And with the Titans winning big over the Jets this week, last week’s loss doesn’t look so bad. Anyways it shocked me to see that the Chargers threw up 506 yards. Philip Rivers threw for 401 yards and three touchdown passes. This is already the second time this year that the Bolts have eclipsed the 500 yard mark on offense and Rivers has gone over 400 yards passing; coincidentally both times came against NFC East teams. 11 touchdown passes and only 2 picks on the season look pretty good on River’s résumé. Now, for the Cowboys this is a pretty painful loss, but because the Eagles lost big to Denver, they still maintain their one game lead in the division. I’m not quite sure why Dallas didn’t run the ball more. DeMarco Murray only toted the rock 14 times and he made some pretty good yardage when he did (70). I look for the ‘Boys to get that ground game cranking again next week when the team plays host to the Broncos. That should be an entertaining game.
