Out of all of the appetizing Week 2 games on the menu, who could have guessed that this would be one of the best games of the weekend? With six seconds left in the game, down by six, rookie E.J. Manuel hooked up with Stevie Johnson in the back left corner of the end zone for the game-winning score. He was absolutely wide open; a clear busted coverage by the Carolina secondary. So far, the Bills have been able to hold their own at home vs. pretty good quarterbacked-teams. Their real test will begin next week when they have to take their show on the road. Manuel has not looked bad in his two starts and he is giving Buffalo fans a reason to believe which is very good to see. As for the Panthers, it is a new year with the same story. They seemingly always play their opponents tough earlier on in the season but cannot get the job done. This has to be frustrating and head coach Ron Rivera is already on a short leash. There is a slight chance that if the Panthers do not have a win by the end of the month, he could be fired. For that we will have to wait and see.
